| 1. What did you learn? – In this lab I learned some methods to create background images/textures in photoshop. |
| 2. What was easy? – For one layer we used the rendering tool to create clouds. This tool is easy to use and can generate some very interesting backgrounds. |
| 3. What was challenging? – I had trouble deciding what part of which image I wanted to use to create a texture. It was a bit difficult once I had it to fine tune all of the parameters to make it look natural. |
| 4. How could your submission be improved? – I was not able to create a pattern that I was really satisfied with. This is something I’d like to keep playing with until I get an interesting one. |
| 5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class? – Some of the methods used such as copying a selection and cutting it out were not working for me. This was most likely an adobe issue though. |
| 6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios? – I will definitely refer to the methods of this lab If I need a quick background texture. All of these produced some interesting results. |
| 7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you? – I referred to the slides/videos for the completion of this lab. I also turned to YouTube on a couple items for trouble shooting |
