About this project:
This project taught me how to use Figma and develop a story through simple geometry.
It was a fairly simple process at first, but when it was all said and done, I couldn’t stop editing the frames each time I looked at them.
I found being satisfied enough to be the most challenging aspect of this project. There’s always something that can be tweaked or improved on, so finding a nice stopping point was pretty challenging.
I think I could improve this if I knew how to implement better techniques or use certain features on Figma better. Less use of strokes would go a long way too.
There really isn’t much to improve on this type of project. It’s very beginner friendly and allows for a lot of creativity.
Using what I’ve gained from this project, I can probably speed up my work by not relying redundant shapes and using more of the tools of Figma. I can also avoid many of the problems I went through while making this.
I was inspired less so on a reading but more of a lecture in class. We went over former students work which allowed me to get a better understanding of what I should be doing. This really cleared up my mind and helped me get through all slides in about 30 minutes, leaving me more time to edit and tweak this.
