- What did you learn? I learned how to use the pen tool much more effectively as that is something I have struggled with in the past.I also learned how to effectively communicate directions using illustrations.
- What was easy? Something that was easy in this project was gathering all the source material for my illustrations. Another easy thing was creating the background and finding a font to use.
- What was challenging? The challenging part of this project for me was just doing the illustrations. It wasn’t that hard per-say but it was tedious and did take a little while. The illustration I had trouble with the most was the screw because it always came out looking a little off.
- How could you submission be improved? I think it could be improved by illustrating the screw better. Another improvement I could do would be making better use of the space as it looks a little cluttered.
- How could the professor improve the assignment? I think the professor could improve the assignment by teaching more ways on how to illustrate complex things.
- How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work? I think I am pretty good with the pen tool so illustrations requiring it in the future would be easier in both school and a work situation.
- How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you? A specific video I watched on YouTube contained a design I really liked. The video inspired me to use that design in the background of this project.
