1. What did you learn?
In completing this project, I became much more familiar with InDesign. I learned how to set up parent pages, paragraph styles, and page numbers. I also become more comfortable working with a grid.
2. What was easy?
Using a grid-based layout approach made this project easier.
3. What was challenging?
Setting up page numbers correctly so that they didn’t start until the third page while also starting with “1” was a bit more challenging.
4. How could your submission be improved?
One way I might improve my submission could be to incorporate a different font rather than solely using Neue Haas Grotesk.
5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class?
I thought that this assignment worked well as is.
6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?
In future projects that require working with InDesign, I will be able to make more efficient use of the software now that I know how to use elements like paragraph styles and parent pages. I would also definitely revisit this grid-based approach in the future; I found it super helpful for keeping things looking clean and organized.
