What did you learn?
In this project, I learned about various kinds of educational illustration. Through the labs, I got more comfortable using the pen tool and working with gradients in Illustrator, and I also learned how to work with an isometric grid in Illustrator.

What was easy?
Sketching out each individual element of the illustration was easy.
What was challenging?
Figuring out how to bring together illustrations and text in a way that was visually appealing and easy to follow took a lot of trial and error. Deciding on how to best add color was also more challenging.
How could your submission be improved?
To improve my submission, I might continue adjusting colors to create greater contrast between illustrations and the background.
How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class?
I thought the assignment worked well as is, so there are no specific changes I would make.
How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?
I really enjoyed working in Procreate for this project and working from already digital sketches rather than starting on paper, so this is something I might implement in future illustration projects.
