Project 4

“Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”

Reflection

1. What did you learn? From project 4, I learned how to edit and use different fonts on Figma and make it look visually appealing. Also, even though I have seen this concept of design before, I have never had to make it myself so it was neat coming up with these ideas.

2. What was easy? The easiest part about this project was how we only could use black and white because I feel that it might have been more of a challenge if we had to use color. Additionally, I practically used the same font for every frame and just changed the sizing and thickness, so that was easy to not have to worry about using different fonts.

3. What was challenging? The most challenging part was having to think of a new idea for the repeating lines “Twinkle twinkle little star” and “How I wonder what you are”. It would have been easier to just use the same design twice but having to make a completely new design added challenge to the project.

4. How could your submission be improved? One way my project could have improved is possibly using different fonts. Even though it would have been more of a challenge, it would provide more of a variety to the designs so that they dont all look alike.

5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class? I really dont think anything can be improved other than possibly requiring us to use color and different fonts for more of a challenge and to make it more unique.

6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios? I can apply the knowledge that I gained in future assignments because I now know how to edit fonts in Figma, which will make my projects more unique.
