After looking at famous quotes from the 1780s, I chose a Thomas Jefferson quote from 1786, &#8220;Our liberty depends on the freedom of the press, and that cannot be limited without being lost&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What did you learn? <\/strong>I learned how to create my own font and learned the basics of FontStruct, which I have never used before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What was easy?<\/strong> Nothing was too &#8220;easy&#8221;, each part is a little challenging, such as thinking of what font I want to do since there are so many options. However I definitely wouldn&#8217;t consider it a difficult project, once you figure out which font you are going to use and get the sizing right, its just a matter of practically repeating the same thing for each character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What was challenging?<\/strong> The most challenging part was getting the height\/length right for the letters and brainstorming different fonts to use. Also, I don&#8217;t consider this challenging, but it definitely is a tedious and time consuming project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How could your submission be improved?<\/strong> I could have tried a more advanced\/challenging font and I could improve the sizing of the characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How can the professor improve the assignment in the future? <\/strong>Nothing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?<\/strong> I now have knowledge on creating my own font which I think will be highly useful for me in future projects and assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How did a specific reading, video or example inspire or help you?<\/strong> This article helped me because it&#8217;s style inspired my font.
