1. What did you learn?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I learned how to make a monogram to place on the business card. I also colored my monogram to go for a distinctive look. When making the monogram I was very torn about how I wanted my letters to be positioned and in Figma, I was able to play around with the letters to make it look nice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. What was easy?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The easiest part was changing the color of my monogram. Originally, when I did my monogram it was plain and white but I spiced it up a bit and made it black with a nice aqua color and I kept the theme consistent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. What was challenging?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was a little challenging making the business card on Figma. The instructions were for Illustrator, and the functions were different; however, I was able to manage and create a nice business card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. How could your submission be improved?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My submission could have been improved if I found a better way to combine my initials \u201cTAJ\u201d. I had a pretty difficult time trying to combine them. When I changed the color the “J” was overlapping on the “A”, making it look less neat. If I had the “A” overlap the “J” and cut the curve on the “J” it would improve the appearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The professor could provide tutorials for both Illustrator and Figma, because it would have been easier for me to follow. The professor was very helpful when I came to office hours and walked me through the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I definitely can apply my knowledge of making a business card to my future career because I can create my own business card. With practice, I can improve my design monogram and offer help to other people with making business cards for their own businesses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
