I chose Jack and Jill as my nursery rhyme because I already had ideas of what to sketch for each line. I learned different techniques to better my sketches including continuation and similarity. I found it challenging to come up with solid ideas for some lines but I found it easy to transfer my sketchbook ideas to Figma. I could of improved upon my sketches by incorporating more Gestalt principles like containment and proximity. I don&#8217;t think there are ways to improve this assignment besides giving the student more choice in what to sketch.
