  1. What did you learn?<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    I learned about the many different Gestalt principles and how they affect designs and our placement of certain objects within them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. What was easy?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I found that creating the descriptions for each frame was fairly simple because it was easy to explain each design and its significance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. What was challenging?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I found it challenging to incorporate the Gestalt principles while telling a story with each line from the nursery rhyme I selected, which in this case was “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. How could your submission be improved?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    My submission could be improved by incorporating more than two to three Gestalt principles in each frame. I could challenge myself to find four or more Gestalt principles to demonstrate instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. How could I improve the assignment for next class?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The professor could improve the assignment for next class by combining their list of the six main Gestalt principles and the other Gestalt principles from the readings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I might apply my knowledge in future assignments by being aware of how Gestalt principles affect my designs and how I can use them to relect them in my work. As for future work scenarios, I can apply my knowledge when explaining my designs to my boss and can state how I applied Gestalt principles to my work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7. How did a specific reading or video inspire you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A specific reading inspired me by reminding me of the importance of sketching. It was entitled “The Importance of Sketching in Creating a Successful Design Work” by Kerby Rosanes and it talked about how great ideas often come from rough sketches. I agree with this statement because scribbling and doodling can sometimes bring out the best creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
