Project 4 Reflection

What did you learn?

I learned how to use Soundtrap and Adobe Premiere and the different features that can be used to create simple video or movie.


What was easy?

The easy part of this project was selecting the clips to use for the movie.


What was challenging?

The challenging part of this project was learning a new software program and the different ramifications of the features


How could your submission be improved?

My submission could be improved by adding more scenes from nature, or videos that had better emotion.


How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class?

He could improve the assignment by making sure that the directions in the powerpoint were more detailed/better explained for when we work on the project outside of class and the powerpoint is the only reference point.


How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?

I can apply this knowledge in future classes as a DMA major because I am now starting to be familiar with Soundtrap and Premiere and these programs can be important in the digital media world.


How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?

Going back and rewatching the recorded zooms of the classes when we worked on Project 4 was very helpful when working on the project outside of class, because I was able to pause and rewind when I needed. It helped me to finish my movie.
