Project 4 Film DMA201

  1. What did you learn?

In this project I learned how to use the tools in sound trap, adobe premiere and abode after effects. Because of this I was able to combine all of the skills I’ve learned into one project.

  1. What was easy?

Adding effects and filtering my clips in adobe premiere was relatively easy as each of the tools was organized in a orderly manner.

  1. What was challenging?

Adding multiple sounds and adjusting them to fit with one another. It was challenging getting the sound to match up with my clips.

  1. How could your submission be improved?

I could’ve spent more time on animating my title in after effects. The music in my movie could’ve been lowered compared to my heartbeat sounds.

  1. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class?

I don’t think there is much the professor could improve on except maybe broadening the applications used. Having multiple options of media that students could use like iMovie, video star, Capcut, garage band, etc.

  1. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?

Not only have I learned how to use these applications but I’ve also learned how to be aware of different perspectives, angles, and lighting when filming. This will help me think more critical when preparing for future projects.

  1. How did a specific reading or video found outside of class  inspire or help you?

I used various tutorials on YouTube and the presentation slides from the class in order to help me with this assignment.

Since I didn’t have time to put credits in the video, I’d like to give thanks to Kat Furmanek and Orla Wray for helping me!
