I learned a lot from this project. The first being that are many different ways that you can portray a single subject. For example, the spider in my story is portrayed as both a circle and a pentagon. The second thing I have learned was the rule of thirds. With the use of the rule of thirds, you are able to space out things to create a focal point. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
For me, the easiest part of this project was being able to use the different gestalt principles. I liked being able to take the principle and turn it into a story that can be told through shapes. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
The most challenging part of this project was being able to create a focal point while also keeping the theme. Sometimes, an idea I had for a frame either did not align with a principle or I wasn\u2019t able to create a focal point that fits with both the story and principle. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
One way my submission could have been improved is by simplifying my frames. In order to keep up with the story and principles, I often added additional shapes to my frames to ensure that both concepts were present.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
One way this project could be improved is by assigning each frame with a principle. For example, frame one would have to follow the proximity principle, frame two would have to follow the continuity principle, and so on. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
I can take my knowledge of the rule of thirds with me to my next project. By understanding spacing, I am able to create a more coherent design.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
