In this project we worked in Illustrator and Figma to create black and white simple shaped telling of nursery rhymes. I haven\u2019t worked with either program a lot so I learned about how to really use the programs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

it was easy for me to visualize how I wanted my project to look, however putting it together was the more difficult part of the project. Since I haven’t worked in the program, making the panels looking exactly how I wanted was a challenge. I wasn’t sure how to do certain things, like colors changing while overlapping images or changing stroke size. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though I enjoy the overall simplicity of my project, I like the more complex designs over people in my class came up with. I think my project would be improved with a more abstract design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s the story of Little Miss Muffet through the perspective of the spider. I thought the story would work better with him as the main character and I was inspired by how in everyday life people are so scared of spiders, including myself, that the thought of that must make them sad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For future assignments I know the basics of Illustrator and Figma that I can apply. As well as being able to bring in the rule of threes and the grid system to make my designs better and less generic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
