I learned a lot of things during this project. I learned easier ways to use different effects like how to add layers without going to the layers tab. I learned how to adjust brightness and contrast and saturation on individual images instead of the whole layer. I learned multiple ways to remove backgrounds too, that was probably the thing I learned that was most useful to me in this project.
2. What was easy?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I would say once I mastered all of the aspects from the labs we did, removing backgrounds and creating backgrounds, etc, it made the actual project a lot easier. That made things go quicker, and helped me understand more of Photoshop, which is always a plus!
3. What was challenging?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I would say actually becoming accustomed to those tools at first. The initial learning of the information done in the labs was difficult.
4. How could your submission be improved?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am pretty content with my submission, but if I had to choose one thing to improve it, I would maybe spend more time on adjusting the contrast levels and or the saturation (levels and curves).
5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To improve the assignment, maybe the professor could add more examples of student made collages in the powerpoint to add an element of inspiration. I feel like unless you know for sure what you want to achieve, it was hard to come up with stuff to add.
6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Knowing how to get rid of backgrounds and create layer masks I feel is a very useful tool to know when demonstrating designs like these. Or even using Photoshop in general. When editing my photos, I can now add more to the photo if wanted by uses pieces of previous photos.
7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
