Last year, I transferred to Canisius College as a senior and I earned a Bachelors in Science degree in Digital Media Arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> When I was growing up, Buffalo was known for cold weather, chicken wings and four consecutive Super Bowl losses.\u00a0 Since I have moved back, I have noticed a movement of local efforts toward urban revitalization and sustainability. Local organizers, business owners, artists, preservationists and community members are working to create lasting positive change in the area. I see nonprofit groups focusing on sustainable business, alternative transportation, urban farming, community ownership and local investment transforming Buffalo into a model of innovation.\u00a0 Buffalo also has a growing arts community, a diverse population and its undeniable pride in the City. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Canisius Earning Excellence Program.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>As a student in the Digital Media Arts Program, I was very lucky to have the opportunity to be selected for this opportunity to showcase my design skills.
