Project 3

To Kill Time: Final Submission
Love Is Blind: Lab Submission
Sketches for Love Is Blind
Sketches for To Kill Time
  1. What did you learn? In this project, I learned how to use different plugins, which allowed me to upload my pictures and make my background pattern. I also learned how to photoshop specific pictures, and remove their background.
  2. What was easy? The easiest part of this project was creating the pattern in the background. I enjoyed making these patterns because I could be creative and make it how I wanted it to be.
  3. What was challenging? The most challenging part of this project was finding good pictures to use. The plugin I used did not have good pictures for my project. It took forever to find a shattered clock the way I wanted it to look. I also found it difficult to find hands that looked right to use on my hearts. This is why they each only have one arm, holding hands.
  4. How could your submission be improved? I’m not exactly sure if this is needed, but i feel like my clock and knife being right in the middle of the page looks a bit awkward. If I used the rule of thirds it would look more pleasing to the eye.
  5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class? Professor Dunkle provided me with the correct tools for this project, and did a very good job at explaining how to photoshop and use the plugins.
  6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios? I really enjoyed making the patterns, so I hope I am able to use this in another future project. It is a easy way to make your project that much more exciting.
  7. How did a specific reading or video help you? The links you provided under content in regards to photoshop helped me learn how to combine images and crop or chance individual images.
