1. What did you learn?
In this final project, we apply our knowledge to create a project that embodies the four components of graphic design. The result will be a series of postage stamps that showcase your knowledge of layout, color, image and typography. For this project, I did was the movies of Sir Sean Connery as James Bond 007. I did the locations, the gadgets, and the villians from the movies.
2. What was easy?
The easy part of this project was finding the right pictures of Sean Connery as James Bond and finding the couple of locations that was used in the movies for example: London where MI6 is located and Jamaica where the first movie was being filmed.
3. What was challenging?
The challenging part was putting in the right colors and trying to make the top part of the frame a color and the bottom part a different color and making the text bigger and smaller to fit in the bar that I have almost in the middle and finding what layers did this go into.
4. How could your submission be improved?
What I should have done to make my submission be improved, was to maybe had another frame of locations of the Bond movies to make it more surreal because there were other locations that was used in the movie.
5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class?
To improve the assignment for the next class, I think Professor Dunkle show us more on the Pass Through and Overlay and how it can be a more effective way to show us to make our stamps look better.
6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?
For this type of project, maybe do more research on the location aspect of this project and how it can fit into this to make it more effective.
7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?
Looking at the past projects that the previous students did really got me thinking of several different choices to do a stamp summative.
