WHAT
Canisius College students enrolled in a communication class, AKA “Team Yeet,” inviting all social media users to take a well-deserved break from their social media accounts for just 24-hours.
WHEN
Starting November 30 at 7:00 AM and ending December 1 at 7:00 AM. WHY: Some young adults spend an average of three hours a day on social media. Imagine all the fun stuff you can do with that extra time! Take a nap, eat some nachos, go for a walk, throw a Frisbee, play the drums, or watch, “The Social Dilemma” on Netflix to understand how social media companies manipulate its users.
HOW
First, insert your email address or Instagram handle so that we include you in a raffle to win gift cards for joining our team.
