Project One: ToDo App

What did you learn?

I learned more hotkeys for Figma, and how to generally work with Figma. I did not recall much from when I used Figma last year. This time it was easier to use now that I am more familiar with the software.

What was easy?

Finding a color palette was easy. I like the color sage green, so I found a color palette on Pinterest.

What was challenging?

What I found to be the most challenging was making all the parts of the app look neat by aligning them. I also struggled to make sure ALL the parts of the prototyping work properly.

How could your submission be improved?

I could have had more features added to my app. I had poorly timed my project. Initially, I wanted to add a feature that would keep track of the user’s water intake.

How could I improve the assignment for the next class?

I had trouble making a menu but the issue was solved in class. Maybe next time there can be a demo video on how to do it.

How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?

Now I am more familiar with Figma I plan to create more ambitious projects. I can do more now that the learning curve has lessened for me.

How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?

It is not a reading but the color palette gave me the idea for the design and name of the app.
