Reflection
I learned about the various Gestalt principles and how to apply them. The easiest part about the project was using and getting used to Figma as a program. The most challenging part was learning how to differentiate between some of the Gestalt principles. My project could be improved if I used more than the same few shapes in every frame. The assignment could be improved, maybe if their were more principles we could explore. I could apply what techniques I’ve used in Figma for future projects, such as the grid. The article “Design Principles: Visual Perception And The Principles Of Gestalt” (https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2014/03/design-principles-visual-perception-and-the-principles-of-gestalt/) was very helpful when trying to learn about the different principles.
