What did you learn? I learned how to create a “Tetris” effect with words from a nursery rhyme.
What was easy? It was easy to find fonts that worked with each other and could be easily read.
What was challenging? It was challenging to fit all the words into the frame. Some frames had an odd number of words which made it harder to fit into a square shape without leaving blank spaces.
How could your submission be improved? I could have found fonts that were more unique or contrasted better.
How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class? I think this project was straight forward and all directions were clear.
How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios? When designing graphics, I will use this knowledge to create more unique patterns involving word play.
How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you? This article by New York University helped me better understand what fonts are appropriate and are legible. I referred to this when picking my own fonts for the project.
