I recently finished my project 4. this was by far my favorite project because video editing is a topic that i am passionate about. I am so grateful to have gotten to learn about adobe premier pro and am looking forward to using it more.
Throughout the completion of this project, I learned various skills in web design and coding. I have never been exposed to coding this advanced and was able o learn a lot about how it works.
The easiest part for me was coming up with the information to put on my resume, luckily inspiration struck rather quickly and easily this time and the creativity flowed out of me.
The most difficult part for me was maneuvering the code. actually editing the paragraphs, colors, and other formatting proved to be rather challenging.
If I had more time I would add more information to my project in order to improve it. I would also like to edit the format of the web page to add more borders to the paragraphs.
In order to improve it for the next class, I would give a brief run down of how to code and how html works. This would help beginners who have never coded before.
I will apply this new found knowledge of coding whenever I go to make my own web page, Tino.com, which I have aspirations to do so in the future.
The New York Times reading of how to design a font helped me immensely when it came to choosing a font for my web page.
While completing this project I learned all the essentials of Photoshop. As well as how to make an official greeting card.
For me, the easiest part was editing the text. while the hardest part was the fine tuning of the magnet tool when editing pictures.
If I had more time to improve my submission, I would’ve added more to the inside left panel. I wanted to add more characters from a variety of Netflix shows instead of just The Witcher.
In order to improve the assignment for next class, I would remove the requirement that words be on a path, I think this would allow for more creative freedom with our texts.
With my new found knowledge of photoshop I plan on editing a lot of photos for use on my youtube channel, as well as just casually creating funny pictures.
I drew a lot of inspiration from the history of graphic design reading, I enjoyed seeing the various examples which showed me the great lengths to which my project could go.
Lab 2 we learned how to remove a background from an image and basically blend two images together. I took a picture of a hand holding a leaf and removed its background and placed it over the background of a starry night. Thus creating a whole new image! Overall I enjoyed this lab because I am gaining more and more experience in photoshop. I got experience with various tools like Magic wand, pen, and magnetic lasso. As well as fine tuning with the paint brush.
Over all i liked the intro to Photoshop lab. we selected pixels to test out the selection tool. I chose an apple just as a standard picture to try to get some experience with Photoshop. in step 12 we changed the size of the image. it could be used as a background. in order to generate imagery from scratch you could draw pictures in MS paint.
