1. What did you learn? I learned how to touch up images and make them look better. I did this by using a variety of tools such as the iris blur tool.
2. What was easy? The easy part was touching up the images to make them look cleaner. Another easy part was creating a portfolio in InDesign which showcased the pictures.
3. What was challenging? I didn’t really find anything in this project challenging. I just thought it was a bit tedious going through and touching every picture up.
4. How could your submission be improved? I think it could be improved by taking better pictures as some of the pictures did not come out the way I would’ve liked.
5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class? I don’t think there was anything wrong or hard about the assignment. If I had to say, it would be to show more options on how to touch up images.
6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios? The knowledge I now posses will allow me to do work with anything involving pictures of something where they need to altered or touched up. It will also allow me to create or portfolios of pictures which I didn’t know how to do beforehand.
7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you? I think the project 1 in depth PowerPoint did help to clarify some things about the project that I was unsure of. This as well as the class videos helped me to think of ideas of what I wanted to the theme to be and what I wanted to take pictures of.
