1. What did you learn? I learned how arrange aspects of a package design. I also learned how to outline a bitmap logo and make a vector logo out of it.
2. What was easy? The easy part was arranging all the layers in the package design. Adding type and drawing a cup were also pretty easy. The last thing that was easy was importing the logo into the file.
3. What was challenging? The challenging part was tracing over the logo and making it a vector. Another challenging part was getting my printer to print the package design.
4. How could your submission be improved? I could definitely improve my submission by folding the printed package design but problems with my printer have prevented me from doing so.
5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class? I think the assignment was pretty challenging, however the videos and google slides presentations helped a little bit.
6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios? I learned a lot about illustrator in this project like how to create a vector logo which will be helpful in a career in this field. I also learned how to design a package which is probably in high demand in this day and age.
7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you? The thing that helped me the most was the PowerPoint slides. Each slide had simple and straight to the point directions. I also would say I got a lot of inspiration from the PowerPoint.
