EXCERISE 1- GESTALT NURSERY RHYME

ABSTRACT
REPRESENTATIVE

For this project, I choose to portray “Twinkle, Twinkle, little star” through Gestalt princples.

What did you learn?

I learned a lot about the basic fundamentals of design. As a result, I never noticed that there were so many common principles being applied to famous brands and other companies that make their logos and brands encapsulating.

What was easy?

For me, what was easy was following the principles everything was pretty intermediate level of diffculty.

How could I improve the assignment for the next class?

You can improve the assignment for the next class by maybe not making us just use black and white but exploring various colors and methods.

How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?

I might not, but, will apply this knowledge in my future assignments or work scenarios because Gestalt’s principles really solidifies on the direction in making key art. For these reasons, I can apply this when I do other assignments or work scenarios to output quality art work.

How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?

“Gestalt’s principles applied in design” by William Craig inspired me because when I was struggling to produce ideas for the project some of the things I’ve read and saw really advocated my brainstorming. Especially, with Figure Ground something I was struggling with duration of this project,
