In this project I learned how to create a splash page. I have never heard of such thing until doing this project. I found is easy finding a base color and something to match that base color for the overall design. However, it was very challenging thinking about what I wanted to create for an app. I also found it challenging getting all of the options to work when selected. A lot of times I caught mistakes such as the button going to the wrong slide or not doing anything at all. Lastly, I wanted to be able to copy and paste whatever code generated on the last slides but I was unable to do so. I could have added a few more slides and options instead of limiting each streaming service to just one code. For example, if the user selects Hulu, it only generates one code. The same goes for Neflix and Disney Plus even though none of them share the same code. I could have also added a little more variety of colors in my design.
In the future if I ever have to design something that requires more than one option on the screen, I could use knowledge that I learned in this project to do so. A student created a spelling game names Ghost. Their color design was similiar to mine and that is what inspired me to do red and white.
