Metaphor: Art is the mirror to the soul
What did you learn?
I learned how to cut images together and how to make a pattern.
What was easy?
The easiest part was making the pattern.
What was challenging?
The most challenging part was finding the images that would work well with the metaphor that I chose. It was also difficult to think of what to make with the metaphor that I chose.
How could your submission be improved?
My submission could be improved by making a better background, and by finding better quality images.
How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class?
This assignment could be improved by making an easier to understand tutorial.
How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?
I’ll be able to cut images together using photoshop, any photoshop skills I feel are useful for me.
How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?
What inspired me the most was this article: 55 Best Metaphors About Art (enlightio.com). This helped me to find a metaphor that I liked and felt that I could make into an image.
