Our first project was to create a greetings card. I was already familiar with photoshop from high school but this project did teach me how to create a card format using the ruler and guides. Overall it wasn’t challenging for me but I did struggle a little with printing it because I’d never done that before. I feel confident in my submission and think it turned out pretty well. Learning how to format with rulers and guides in photoshop is something that may prove useful in future assignments and personal work. I decided to do a Valentine’s Day card as it’s coming up and I love the colors and imagery revolving around Valentine’s Day.
