Project 5: Summative

1. What did you learn?

I learned how to combine multiple lesson I learned throughout the semester, along with letting my creativity make 4 different variants of a singular prompt.

2. What was easy?

Coming up with my original ideas, as I had been playing through Hogwarts legacy, and making stamps for it seemed like it would be cool.

3. What was challenging?

Finding a variety of different areas and locations that worked well together in-order to represent my chosen topic well.

4. How could your submission be improved?

More tweaking on the edges between the different images and making the H more visible in my 4th stamp.

5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class?

I enjoyed this project and can’t think of much to improve it.

6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?

When creating this project, it took a lot of preparation to get all the images and think of the layouts, this experience can benefit me when future projects require planning.

7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?
My playthrough of Hogwarts legacy and another fictional location being brought up led me to think of doing it as my location, as well as the control over the images I had, as I could go around the area myself to find angles and images.\

PICTURES OF PROJECT

This stamp is my favorite of the ones I created, the contrast in color and environment while still being over water gives them a really cool effect. The ability for it to be flipped is also really cool to me.

Probably my second favorite one, as I always love monochromatic images. The blend between the images and font allowing the image behind to shine through I really like as well.

This is the first one I did and the one I took the most inspiration from the example one. I feel like this is the one that could use the most work.

This one easily took the longest and I believe is the most unique. lining up the words was difficult and making it look consistent and not off took a lot of tweaking. I believe this one’s main issue is that the H isn’t immediately seeable, but takes a second to see.
