- What did you learn?
I learned more about how to set up a UI in a way that makes sense to the user and translates to a smooth user experience.
2. What was easy?
Getting an initial design down, I had an idea of what I wanted to do from the work I did during Lab 1.
3. What was challenging?
Making the UI as natural as possible. Making sure that that the transitions make sense to the average user and not just me as the creator.
4. How could your submission be improved?
I could have done more polishing to the aesthetics and a bit more changes to optimize the user experience.
I would also want to potentially add labels under the footer; however, I would want to use user testing to determine if it is necessary or it introductory prompts would work more efficiently.
5. How could I improve the assignment for the next class?
More examples of demo apps that inspiration for different UI elements could come from, looking at different applications I use commonly for inspiration was extremely helpful.
6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?
I can apply the knowledge of starting to create a user-friendly UI to make applications or design UI for different use cases.
7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?
Looking at apps like Spotify/TikTok and different websites approaches to different pages helped and inspired me a lot.
