1. What did you learn?
I learned how to optimize photos for different formats such as print and web as well as the correct way to save the images as thumbnails.
2. What was easy?
It was easy to put the images into the InDesign file because I work in InDesign a lot.
3. What was challenging?
It was challenging to fix the curves and levels because it is something in Photoshop that I don’t do as often as I should.
4. How could your submission be improved?
My submission could be improved by spending more time taking images with better composition and lighting so that they don’t require as much Photoshop work.
5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class?
The professor could improve the assignment by taking out the parts in the instructions that aren’t applicable to the current project.
6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?
I will apply this knowledge when revamping my current personal portfolio as well as using it for my photography for The Griffin.
7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?
I was inspired to do my theme when I was sent home to be quarantined for a week. This gave me the opportunity to take beautiful winter photos without the salt and slush of the city.
