1. What did you learn?
I learned that there is a lot more involved in map making than I expected.
2. What was easy?
It was easy to work in Illustrator because I am comfortable with the program.

It was challenging to keep everything looking good and consistent while still being functional and readable.
4. How could your submission be improved?
My submission could be improved by narrowing the scope of the area I chose to do and adding in the railroad tracks.

6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?
I think that these skills like typography and making things both stylish and functional can be used in any future design jobs that I do.
7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?
I was inspired by minimalist designs with pops of color because I tend to make my projects very colorful and busy and I wanted to challenge myself to take a different approach.
