The emotion I wanted to express was adventurous. This was because we spent the day exploring caves and I felt very adventurous. I tried to express this emotion by using my Point of View to make the viewer feel like they were exploring the caves.

I ended up using Adobe Spark because Adobe Premier wouldn’t work on my computer. I liked how easy it was to add videos and add the music I created. I didn’t see any ability for transitions between videos on the website.

A tip I would mention with Adobe Spark is that you need to download the video to preview it. Adobe Spark would not play all the videos together to see how it looks. Instead you have to download the video and you are able to play it and watch it as a whole.

What did you learn?

I learned how to use Unity to create a first person game. I also learned how to add trees, grass, mountains and many other effects to the environment.

What was easy?

Adding textures to the game was easy and using Unity altogether was pretty easy.

What was challenging?

Finding the trees or types of grass to add in the Unity software was challenging.

How could your submission be improved?

I could have added music to the game.

How could you improve the assignment for the next class?

I think as long as you have someone to go through Unity step by step it will be easy for students to navigate.

How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?

I could create a game on Unity or use the knowledge I have gained from using Unity to help me work with other software.

How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?

I was inspired by the videos we watched on YouTube of game trailers made by Buffalo Game Space. It was cool to see that they were able to make an idea into a fun and creative game for everyone to play.

What did you learn?

I learned how to use “Brackets”, enter a custom font, test my files and customize my website.

What was easy?

It was easy to change the code once I was familiar with the software and enter a custom font from google fonts.

What was challenging?

It was challenging to enter my logo.

How could your submission be improved?

I could have changed the format to make the page more visually appealing.

How could I improve the assignment for the next class?

Just include more details on how to insert the logo. Other than that, everything was very straight forward.

How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?

I would be able to change the format of a website by changing the colors or even updating information on the website.
