- In this project I learned all of the basics of photoshop. I was not previously familiar with it, so each step of the project I developed new skills. I learned everything from inserting an image, layering it with other images, and making it pop; to incorporating text that fits the mood of the piece and warping it around images.
2. It took a while to get used to even little tasks like changing an images size, but once I got the hang of it I found I really enjoyed creating collages.
3. It was most challenging to learn “type on a path” and work with text.
4. I would improve this submission perhaps by printing it on a nice card stock paper and possibly making the front cover look a little more cohesive.
5. It would be helpful to have a full outline listed on D2L with all of the requirements for this project along with helpful links to the demonstrations for each requirement.
6. I would love to use this new skill in marketing campaigns and for social media as I dive into my more creative side.
7. I mostly used Pinterest and other social media for the inspiration for the layout; however, my friend, whose birthday card this is, obviously was the biggest inspiration for this piece.
