Project 2: Color

Urban Landscape:

For my Urban Landscape, I had chosen a dark background that would help the blue color of the buildings stand out. As well as the orange windows I had used to make the building stand out more. I had also added doors to the majority of the buildings to give them a sense of entry into the building. On 2 of the buildings I didn’t because I had wanted them to be like by-standing buildings. As well as the heights of the buildings keeping them very unique in there own way by length and height.

Desert Landscape:

For this Landscape I wanted the cactus’s to be the focal point of the project because to me in the desert the cactus makes the desert the desert even alongside the sand the cactus is one of the top mentioned when talked about even cited in movies when they take place in the desert. For the sky, I had tried to make the clouds blend with the sky to give it more of a real setting. As well as the ground was brown to compliment the sky and cactus.

Aquatic Landscape:

For the Aquatic Landscape, I had wanted the sun and the water to resemble a sun rising but you wouldn’t be able to see the sun fully which is what I was going for. I had used 3 different forms of blue to give the water a better representation.

Extraterrestrial Landscape:

For this Landscape, I had the moon and a different version of the sun depicted as a more orange-ish color to give the sun a cooler feeling to it. As well as the moon I had changed the gradient to give it a more space-ish vibe to it. Also the stars I had a good amount to the E.T landscape. The last touch I had added was a black hole type of pathway that you could interpret it in any way that you wanted, maybe it was a path? maybe it was another universe that had a different sun, moon, and stars. I was generally making the Extraterrestrial Landscape a different version of how it would normally would be.
