1. What did you learn? I learned how to make vectors and how to create a website from scratch, not using any templates. For example, wix.com uses templates but with Figma, I had to create everything on my own.
2. What was easy? The surface design, for example, the layout of the links, or the font I chose and how I arranged the information.
3. What was challenging? The most challenging part was gathering information to put on the website.
4. How could your submission be improved? I think I could have added a “HOME” button to the top part of the website. I also wish I made the message part work and not just there for design purposes.
5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class? I wish we could learn how to put a video on our website. I think that would be a cool idea.
6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios? I think knowing how to create a website and having experience in graphic designing to create your own logo would be incredibly useful for making a portfolio website.
7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you? The little tip on graying out the top buttons “RESUME”, “PORTFOLIO”, and “CONTACT”, were really nice touches.
8. Show some images of your work in .jpg or .png format. Include sketches, work in progress, and final images.
