Project 3 Reflection

1. What did you learn? I learned how to use Maya and import to Unreal. I also learned how to change the texture nodes around in Unreal.

2. What was easy? Designing the game with all the objects imported was easy.

3. What was challenging? The most challenging part was figuring out how to make the 3D models in Maya and how to use them in the game.

4. How could your submission be improved? My submission could be improved by adding more objects to my whole game and making the objects I imported a bit more interactive.

5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class? At least for me, I needed more direction on what kind of game I should make. Figuring out what game I could make with the random 3D shapes I made from Bezier curves were hard. Also, just learning how to make 3D shapes that don’t just use the Bezier curve.

6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios? I think this was a great problem solving project. I ran into so many problems in this project but it taught me to really keep pushing.

7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you? I had to search up many videos or readings on how to important my objects from NURBS and objects and all that whatnot.

8. Show some images of your work in .jpg or .png format. Include sketches, work in progress, and final images.
