What did you learn?: I learned about creating a successful website and the importance of making it visually appealing.
What was easy?: Adding my resume was easy because I already had it written, I just needed to copy and paste it over to my website.
What was challenging?: Creating the monogram was hard because the letter “C” is hard to incorporate into a design. I think I made a good monogram, though. The “C” is connected to the “M”, but if you don’t realize it, the “C” looks like its just a fancy swirl on the “M”.
How could your submission be improved?: I could have added some more “fun” to it. I feel like a little it’s dull, but I like the professionalism of it.
How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class?: I have no complaints, I think the professor did a good job at teaching this assignment.
How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?: Being able to create and design a website will help me in the future because graphic design is a major key in media-centric careers.
How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?: Reading about the importance of color schemes and minimalism helped me ensure the greens all complemented each other and everything was easy to read. I was able to let loose a little and be casual on the “About” page to show some more of myself.
