1. What did you learn?

I learned a lot in this project. I had already used photoshop before but forgot how to maneuver it as well. I learned how to use the clone stamp tool though. I never used that tool before. I also never scanned anything before or used a grey card to adjust a scanned image.

2. What was easy?

After getting used to the steps it got fairly easy. Retouching was really fun. I liked using the clone stamp a lot. I also thought replacing the images that were already in the folder with our ones made this project way easier.

3. What was challenging?

It was definitely challenging in the beginning. I didn’t know how to do what. I’m honestly surprised I was able to finish on time. I think this type of project required a lot of repetive actions but through those repetive actions it became easier.

4. How could your submission be improved?

My submission could be improved if I used more tools on photoshop. Honestly I think I did really well for a rookie.

5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class?

For some reason when the professor shows you one on one it looks so easy and do-able but when I’m just looking at him teach on the board I get distracted or I can’t keep up with his pace and get lost along the way. So to answer this question, maybe just go slower?

6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?

I will definitely apply the knowledge I gained from this project for future assignments or personal scenarios by using photoshop or a scanner to retouch old images or to make an image look the best it can be.

7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?

This tiktok I would say helped me with my theme. I love nature and places filled with plants and the tiktok shows a beautiful place in NYC that has plants.
