I know how unoriginal it is to do Buffalo stamps here, but I think I pretty much nailed the style. I went for a sort of “headline-news” aesthetic, not quite comic book-esque but definitely pulp influenced.

Here is a demo of the Enteric font, designed as an assignment for a Typography class. The font was inspired by handwritten pixel art fonts, similar to what can be seen in the Simpsons arcade game, but quickly evolved to be influenced more by 30’s detective comics.
