Project 3: The Finale

It is the last project. The last project of my college career. It was a nice ride and I enjoyed doing and creating some many works, from 2D graphics to videography. I enjoyed everything I created and every criticism I received from my professors and peers. For the last project I think that my two majors got to become one. Being a communication advertising/PR and DMA major really helped for this project. During this project I learned all over again how to adjust color and using vector to mess with shapes. The lightning bolt S in the logo was created using photoshop and illustrator and the O just has a triangle added on the side so it fits snug within that S.

What was easy is coming up with the font that I wanted to use. I wanted something bold to stand out something strong. Eurocine black oblique was similar to the impact type face but not so strong and compact that you could not read it. The challenging part of the project was doing the display and coming up with the mood board. I knew what I wanted the product to look like but I could not for the life of me put it down on paper. That is something as an artist I want to get better at planning and writing down my things to do.

This submission can be improved by using the critics that I received and making adjustments accordingly. I would also take time to actually create the label and put them on blank cans. To see what it would look like IRL. I would also do more in terms of the display booth. It was really hard to do little parts of it but obviously this would be the background and you would see at the trade event.

Overall, this final project defiently is not complete in my opinion there is so much more I could do to add and make it really come to life. Which I still want to work on but as a graduating senior I have so many other things that I need to do as well so this is one the back burner for a while.

I enjoyed my time learning and creating here in the DMA department and I appreciate all the professors that helped me along the way.
