In this project, you have to create a visual metaphor that combines two images in a unique and surprising way. I really never used Photoshop before, so it was hard for me to learn everything needed to complete the project. I did learn how to use the magnetic lasso and how to create layers, which I can use for future projects. I think the easiest part of this project figuring out what metaphor I wanted and how to present it using images. The most challenging part was figuring out how to put the metaphor onto photoshop and making it look how I wanted it to. I think my project could be improved by adding more detail into the hearts by adding gradient and adjusting the hue and saturation. I think something that the professor can change is having the student pick the metaphors from a hat, for more variety.
